Lanterna

Websites for people who make things worth seeing.

A full-service, mixed-media production and technology studio in the heart of Lisbon. We work with singers, performers, and the stubbornly creative.

Most artist websites read like a program note. Yours should read like an overture.

A headshot, a PDF résumé and a contact form is not a presence — it's a filing cabinet.

You spent fifteen years learning how to hold a room. Your website should be able to hold one too.

A voice is a
vibration you can't see.

Scatter sand on a steel plate, draw a bow across the edge, and the grains flee the noise to gather on the lines that stay perfectly still. Ernst Chladni did this in 1787 and accidentally drew the first picture of sound.

This is that. Running live, in your browser, at grains. Nothing here is a video.

Drag across the plate to disturb the sand.

That's the whole job, really.
We build the plate.

Three shapes,
one standard

I

The Artist Site

Bio, repertoire, schedule, reviews, media, contact. Fast enough for a casting director on airport wifi, simple enough to update yourself at midnight before an opening.

  • Schedule & roles
  • Press & reviews
  • Audio / video
  • Downloadable press kit
II

The Practice Site

For coaches, speakers and anyone who sells their judgement. Built to move a stranger from "who is this" to "when can we talk" without ever raising its voice.

  • Positioning & copy
  • Proof & testimonials
  • Booking flow
  • Search & analytics
III

The Strange One

The thing that doesn't fit in a brief. An album that needs a room. An installation with a URL. A museum for a single object. A website that behaves like a score.

  • WebGL & shaders
  • Generative visuals
  • Sound-reactive work
  • Whatever it needs

In four acts

  1. Overture

One long conversation. What you actually do, who needs to find out, and what has to be true on the page for them to believe it.

  2. Rehearsal

Structure, words and a look. We get the bones right on paper before a single pixel is allowed to move.

  3. Staging

We build it by hand. Custom, quick, and yours — no template tax, no page-builder mush, no plugin you'll be renting in 2031.

  4. Opening night

Live, indexed, measured, and fast. Then we stay on to keep the lights on and the schedule current.

Tell us what
you're making.

Lanterna — Portuguese for lantern. Something you carry into a dark room so other people can see what's in it. That's the pitch. That's the whole pitch.
